When: Saturday, February 16, 2013
Time and Location: Dinner will be at 5:30 pm in the SLC, show will be at 7:00 pm in Langford Auditorium.
Tickets: Tickets cost $10 for show only and $15 for both show and dinner.
The Asian New Year Festival is a celebration of various Asian traditions held around the time of the traditional Lunar New Year. The show itself is a collaboration of over a hundred Vanderbilt students (both Asian and non-Asian) who put in hours of work each week to perfecting their respective acts. The show contains about 15 different acts that reflect the rich diversity of culture, music, and art, both modern and traditional that can be seen in all parts of Asia. In addition to the show itself, a dinner is held before the show featuring cuisine from various culinary traditions in Asia, including: Korean, Japanese, Chinese, Thai, and Vietnamese foods.
