Government Relations Program Coordinator
Julie Harding is the government relations program coordinator in Vanderbilt University's Office of Federal Relations and State Government Relations. In this role, she is responsible for coordinating all internal and external communications efforts, platforms, and tools to advance the university’s state and federal advocacy agendas. Julie is also responsible for identifying and managing campus-based engagement opportunities with state and federal officials.
Prior to joining Vanderbilt University, Julie worked in communications and special projects for O'Brien School for the Maasai, a non-governmental organization in Tanzania. She also worked as a paralegal in Indiana.
Originally from Greenfield, Indiana, Harding earned her Bachelor of Science in public affairs from Indiana University Bloomington and her master's degree in global strategic communication through the University of Florida.
