Simplification & Standardization
As we move toward common models, how we work will change. Oracle Applications Cloud will be the official, authoritative data source for employee and financial information. When implementing these technologies to enable the future-state design, processes will be designed based on the out-of-the-box functionality to be conducted in a standardized manner across the enterprise.
Forward Focus
A future-state design will not be constrained by status quo. Everything is "on the table," and the organization will focus on the possible.
Accountable Governance
The project and the future-state operating model will have a clearly defined governance structure that is communicated and understood throughout the organization. We will create a dynamic environment that embraces ongoing, meaningful change.
Transparency & Inclusion
We invite members of the Vanderbilt community to share their ideas and concerns about the project. We take the needs of stakeholders seriously, and we will consider all suggestions and comments. However, we cannot promise—and there should be no expectation—that any given suggestion or comment will be adopted. We are committed to making information about this initiative available to the Vanderbilt community.
Measurable Results
Transformed processes will be measured via qualitative and quantitative key performance indicators (KPIs) to track ongoing performance and identify continuous improvement efforts.
