Teresa A. Goddu (she, her, hers) is professor of English at Vanderbilt University. She received her B.A. from Yale University and her Ph.D. from the University of Pennsylvania. Professor Goddu specializes in nineteenth-century American literature and culture, slavery and antislavery, as well as print, material, and visual culture. Her current research focuses on the environmental humanities, specifically contemporary climate fiction. She is the recipient of the Jeffrey Nordhaus Award for Excellence in Undergraduate Teaching in the Humanities and the Chancellor’s Cup.
