Faculty Head of Rothschild College Ravindra Duddu (he, him, his) is an associate professor of civil and environmental engineering. He received his B. Tech. from Indian Institute of Technology Madras and Ph.D. from Northwestern University and has been a part of the Vanderbilt faculty since 2012. Professor Duddu specializes in scientific computing focusing on the applications of finite element analysis and machine learning in earth, climate, and material sciences. He is recipient of the National Science Foundation CAREER award and Fulbright Kalam-Climate Fellowship. In his leisure time,  he likes to play board games with his kids, play ping pong and volleyball, go swimming, and listen to podcasts on health, climate, and economy.
