Stephanie joined the Research Development and Support (RDS) team in August 2024. She helps faculty diversify their funding portfolios, develop competitive proposals aligning with the priorities of federal and foundation sponsors, and build strategic teams well-positioned to conduct convergence research.
Before joining the RDS team, Stephanie was a Research Development Specialist supporting Environmental Sciences and Studies at the University of California, Santa Cruz. In this role, she supported proposal development and submission to more than 22 federal and private foundation sponsors. Prior to that, she was a Research Assistant Professor at the University of Memphis, where she received federal and state funding to pursue her own research. She also served as a faculty member at Rhodes College.
Stephanie received her Ph.D. in Biological Sciences from the University of Memphis and her M.S. and B.S. in Biology from the American University of Beirut.
