
Rebecca joined the Research Development and Support team in August of 2024 as the new Program Manager, spearheading limited submission opportunities (LSOs) and internal award programs.
For over ten years, Rebecca worked as an information and research professional in public and academic libraries across the southeastern United States. Before joining RDS, she worked as a youth services librarian in metropolitan public libraries serving communities in Huntsville, Atlanta, and Nashville, where she focused on modeling early literacy best practices with parents and caregivers of the youngest library users, managed community engagement programs like annual summer reading programs, and established unique collections such as Huntsville’s circulating ukulele collection. In 2021, she joined Lipscomb University’s library faculty as Circulation and Collection Development Librarian, leading workshops and classes in optimizing database searches and establishing information literacy skills for students and faculty alike.
