Kathryn joined the Research Development and Support team in January 2023. She has twenty years of research administration experience including grant preparation, program implementation, team building and participant support, program evaluation and reporting.
Prior to joining RDS, in her role as administrative director of the UNC-CH Institute for Global Health and Infectious Diseases Fellowship and Training Programs Office she focused on providing leadership to strategic planning, workforce development, and quality improvement initiatives toward the advancement of domestic and global graduate research training. She played a primary role in growing the number of academic training opportunities in the UNC School of Medicine funded by the NIH and foundation grants.
Kathryn holds an MPH in Maternal and Child Health from the UNC Gillings School of Global Public Health.
