God: Fact or Fiction? – Dr. John Lennox
God: Fact or Fiction?
John Lennox – Professor of Mathematics, University of Oxford
Wednesday, February 20, 2013 at 7:00 PM
Langford Auditorium
Oxford mathematician John Lennox will be discussing the different evidence for and against God’s existence. Dr. Paul Lim, Vanderbilt Professor and Veritas Forum speaker, will be our host. There will also be light refreshments and a book table afterward.
We are anticipating a full house for John Lennox’s presentation! The event is open to the public, but student ID holders will be given priority seating so that Vanderbilt students have the first opportunity to see John Lennox.
This event is sponsored by Vanderbilt RUF. RUF is a student organization that seeks to spread the “gospel” (the good news of Jesus Christ) through ourselves and into the campus by word, deed, and lifestyle. We believe the gospel is what brings about personal change, social healing, and cultural renewal.
Everyone is welcome regardless of personal or religious background. RUF is here for the “convinced” and the “unconvinced,” the lost, the found, the burned, bored, cynical, or spiritual. We invite you no matter where you are in the process.
Join RUF Wednesday nights at 8pm in the Benton Chapel and feel free to check out what else is going on in RUF through their website.
