Interfaith Scholars 2024-2025

The Interfaith Scholars are students who commit to sustained conversation with students of religions/worldviews that are different from their own. The Interfaith Scholars at Vanderbilt commit to meeting weekly for a period of time during the fall and spring semesters to learn from each other and to build bridges across lines of difference through civil dialogue. The Scholars use curriculum from Interfaith America, case students from the Harvard Pluralism Project, and engage in dialogue with each other. Each student receives a $400 stipend at the end of the fall and spring semesters (pending approval from the Financial Office). There are 18 available positions; all are currently filled for the 2024-2025 academic year. If you would like to be placed on the waiting list for 2025-2026, please email religiouslife@vanderbilt.edu.
