Green Tea with Green Dot
Join us at the OUCRL for an open focus group for students to sit and give their opinions and perspective of the Green Dot curriculum as well as its impact on campus culture. We welcome all students regardless of level of involvement iwht Green DOt in the past. We invite you to sit, enjoy refreshments, and engage in candid conversation about interpersonal violence and campus culture at Vanderbilt. Feel free to stay for the entire time or leave whenever you like.
Focus groups on the same topic will also be taking place at the same time in two other locations: the K.C. Potter Center (Office of LGBTQI Life) and the Office of Active Citizenship and Service.
Wednesday
Mustache for Consent (11:00am-1:30pm) Sarratt Promenade
Campaign Kick Off, Launching of the campus’s Effective Consent campaign, free cupcakes, and mustache photo booth!
Thursday
11:00am-1:30pm (Sarratt Promenade): Green Dot Games, Submit Your Green Dot to the online map, Green Dot Swag and Info
2:00pm-5:00pm Service Project with YWCA; free food at OACS afterwards

Bystander Workshop 3:00pm-9:00pm in Sarratt 189
Interactive and Informative, the Green Dot bystander workshops provide an in-depth understanding about the Green Dot campaign, and include: a comprehensive overview of power-based personal violence (intimate partner violence, sexual violence, stalking, identity-based targeting, and bullying; a conversation about common obstacles preventing people from intervening; an opportunity to explore Green Dot for every personality; and a time for developing Green Dots you can implement in your daily lives.
