AquaDores Swim Team
AquaDores is a summer swim team that is open to Vanderbilt University and the greater Nashville community. The goal of AquaDores is to offer Nashville youth the opportunity to improve existing swim skills and develop teamwork. The AquaDores Swim Team focuses on stroke technique, competition, water safety, and encourages sportsmanship and camaraderie.
Practices at the Rec pool creates a fun-filled, competitive swim experiences for all participants and families. Swimmers who are 6-17 years of age and can swim one length of the pool in any stroke are eligible to join. Parent/guardian involvement is essential to the success of the team.
Announcing the AquaDores Swim Team 2018 Spring Clinic:
The Spring 2018 AquaDores Competitive Swim Clinic is for past members and prospective recruits, ages 6 -17, with an interest in competitive swim team participation for the Summer 2018 season. The 2018 Spring Clinic will focus on refining swimmers’ stroke technique and increasing their endurance. It is open to Vanderbilt University and the greater Nashville community. Additionally, the clinic encourages sportsmanship and camaraderie. The clinic will be directed by an experienced, certified USA Swimming Coach.
We invite you to create a fun-filled beginning and continuing competitive experience.
Swimmers must have knowledge of swimming and be able to complete a full 25 yd., continuous swim in water depth of 10 feet without the aid of flotation devices. (This clinic is not a substitute for swim lessons.)
Date : April 16 - April 25 (Monday – Wednesday) for 2 weeks.
Times : 4:30 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. (Thursdays make up day in the case of inclement weather or pool closures)
