Student Services Fee: Students Accessing the Rec

Students who register for academic classes are assessed a mandatory Student Services Fee. The Student Services Fee allows students to access campus programs including the Rec’s main facility. For more information about the Student Services Fee, visit https://www.vanderbilt.edu/stuaccts/fees/student_service_fees_ugrd.php.

Active Membership Options:

We are only inviting current university employees (faculty, staff, postdocs), current Wond’ry registered mentors, current university interns and scholars, recognized retired emeriti faculty, and current Vanderbilt University Medical Center employees to become members. See the membership table below for additional information.

University Plus 1 Membership Benefit:

University employees and retired emeriti faculty may add a Plus 1 to their membership. This is a perk of being an active Vandy Rec member. A Plus 1 must be over the age of 18 and live in the same residence as the University Member. The active Vandy Rec employee and Plus 1 must make an appointment with recmemberservices@vanderbilt.edu to verify residency prior to purchasing a membership. Be sure to bring the acceptable documents outlined by the Membership Team. See the membership table below for additional information.

Student Spouse Membership Benefit:

Current university student spouses can now utilize the Rec. Student spouses must follow the Student Handbook’s policies in order to receive this perk. The enrolled Vanderbilt student and spouse must make an appointment with recmemberservices@vanderbilt.edu to verify the relationship status prior to purchasing a membership. Student spouses must bring their Vanderbilt ID to their verification meeting with Rec Member Services. For the student spouse to retain this perk, the Vanderbilt student must remain enrolled in Vanderbilt classes. See the membership table below for additional information. Note: for summer, active students must have a summer membership in order for their spouse to retain a membership.
