Peer Education
Project Safe Center for Sexual Misconduct Prevention and Response
Peer Educator Role Description
The Project Safe Center Peer Educators are undergraduate and graduate students that provide sexual misconduct prevention and sexual health and wellness education to their peers through interactive programs and other outreach initiatives. Peer educators should also role model healthy relationship practices and act as liaisons to connect their peers to sexual misconduct reporting and support resources and health and wellness resources on campus and in the community. Peer Educators are held to the same expectations as other campus student employees and students may benefit from their participation in the program. This opportunity should enable students to learn and develop skills that will help them personally and professionally.
