The Owen School of Management at Vanderbilt University invites applications for a postdoctoral research fellowship in operations management. Postdoctoral researchers are expected to work with Owen faculty on new research projects while making progress toward the publication of their current scholarly work. To be eligible, a candidate must complete their PhD by summer 2024 from an AACSB-accredited business school. Candidates with research interests in supply chain management, networks, and operations-finance interface are especially encouraged to apply.
Our preference is for candidates who have recently completed their PhD. Candidates with more experience who have a direct interest in the aforementioned research areas are also welcome to apply. We are interested in candidates who will produce research of excellent quality that will have a significant impact on the field. The successful candidate could start in August 2024 for a one-year appointment (with the possibility of renewal for an additional year). Salary commensurate with degree and experience including an excellent benefits package.
The Owen Graduate School of Management at Vanderbilt University is dedicated exclusively to graduate management education. It has an enrollment of over 600 full‐time students in its full‐time MBA, Executive MBA, Master of Science in Finance, Masters of Accountancy, Masters of Marketing, and Masters of Management in Health Care programs. The school's 50 full‐time faculty members are actively engaged in research, which is supported in part through the school's four research centers. Owen enrolls students from all parts of the United States and over 40 countries.
