Work in the lab is explicitly multi-modal and multidisciplinary, combining theory and methods from developmental science, clinical psychology, psychiatric epidemiology, and behavioral genetics. Postdoctoral researcher responsibilities will include cleaning and processing data, analyzing data, publishing scientific manuscripts, presenting at conferences, and submitting mentored grant applications. The postdoc may also supervise undergraduate students and contribute to the design and execution of funded studies. This is an ideal position for those seeking a postdoctoral career of high research productivity (publications, grants) to successfully transition to an independent academic research career.
Desired Skills: Candidates should hold a Ph.D. in clinical psychology, cognitive psychology, neuroscience, or related disciplines. The following skills are preferred but not required: 1. Experience with analyzing data in R or MPlus 2. Experience with twin or advanced longitudinal analytic methods 3. Experience with neuroimaging data processing and/or analysis 4. A track record of publications in refereed journals
Additional Information: The appointment start date is negotiable. The appointment has a possible duration of two years, contingent upon successful performance in the first year. Salary is commensurate with experience.
