Current Opportunities at Vanderbilt

We are seeking motivated postdoctoral researchers with a solid technical background and experience in areas related to AI/ML, security and resilience, and CPS. Experience in software design and development, and the ability to link theoretical results to systems/experimental work are highly valued. A Ph.D. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related field is required. ISIS (www.isis.vanderbilt.edu) is a premier research institute in the Vanderbilt University School of Engineering with 22 faculty, 42 research scientists and engineers, and more than 60 graduate students with sponsored funding that currently exceeds $20 million a year. ISIS is affiliated with the Department of Computer Science (https://engineering.vanderbilt.edu/cs/).

Full Description

Postdoctoral Researchers in AI/ML and Security for Cyber-Physical Systems

The Institute for Software Integrated Systems (ISIS) in the School of Engineering at Vanderbilt University invites applications for Postdoctoral Researcher positions in the area of Cyber Physical Systems (CPS) with emphasis on (1) AI/ML in engineered systems and (2) security and resilience. These are strategic research areas at ISIS that are currently realized through a portfolio of projects (https://www.isis.vanderbilt.edu/research). Our goal is the development of new foundations for analysis and design of CPS. The postdoctoral scholars, supervised by Professor Koutsoukos, will have the opportunity to get involved in the development of theoretical foundations, development of software tools, and systems/experimental research using real-life problems.
