Welcome to the Modeling Nature website! Modeling nature is a collaborative project of university researchers, elementary and middle school teachers, and students. The goal of the project is to reform math and science education by incorporating cognitive science, developmental psychology, and instructional technology. The big theme of the project is science and math education through modeling natural systems.

This website presents the works of the past and current among the collaborators. The website provides classroom lessons written by teachers and researchers along with analysis of students' thinking.
