About: Vanderbilt University's SkillBridge Program is designed to enhance the skills, training, knowledge, and experience of transitioning Service Members, assisting them in their goals of securing employment post their military service. This 12-week Fellowship program will be led by industry experts teaching, coaching, and training participants in the practical application of skills learned during the program. Fellows will be exposed to employee training and career development as they work under close supervision of University staff. Service Members will additionally benefit from Health and Wellness classes, guest speakers, and guided curriculum curated for transitioning Service Members.

Types of Roles: Vanderbilt University hires for many types of roles. We have trades apprenticeships, landscapers, maintenance technicians, campus dining, to human resources, administrative, IT and project management professionals.

Eligibility: Servicemembers must be within 180 days of separation and cannot participate while on transition leave. The recommended timeline to apply to our Skillbridge program is approximately 180 days from separation, as this will allow us time to match the servicemember with a job opening. For general CSP and Skillbridge questions, please visit Fort Campbell's CSP page.

How It Works: Each fellowship lasts 12 weeks and operates on a Monday-Thursday schedule unless otherwise specified. During these 12 weeks, Fridays are dedicated to workshops, medical appointments, and clearing.

Please note: Many positions at Vanderbilt are eligible for Skillbridge fellowships. If you are an interested servicemember but do not see a position below that appeals to you, please look for our most up-to-date postings on our job site.
