Tinius Olsen Model 50 ST
The Tinius Olsen Model 50 ST electromechanical load frame is a benchtop unit that has the capacity to perform compressive, tensile, and flexural testing of solid samples up to a maximum force of 50kN (11,000lbf). A 5kN and 50kN load cell is available to users and provides for a wide range of loading conditions. Standard compression platens, tensile grips (for a maximum force of 2kN), 3-pt bending grips, and 4-pt bending grips allow for various test configurations. Fully configurable test settings and output options provide unparalleled customization for mechanical testing. The integrated Horizon software and webcam also provides for real-time video of sample testing that can be correlated to data collected during testing.
Usage of the Tinius Olsen Model 50 ST is charged on an hourly basis. All training and reservations for the Tinius Olsen Model 50 ST are handled via MDERFH’s iLab Core.
