Being a Good Neighbor

Vanderbilt is committed to respecting and supporting the quality of life in the neighborhoods that border our campus. We strive to assist our neighbors in resolving issues that impact quality of life.

We will work with you on student-related challenges, noise disturbances, construction concerns, grounds issues, and more. For assistance please contact our Neighborhood and County Liason, Lynn Maddox.

If an issue arrises after normal business hours and requires an immediate response, please call the Vanderbilt University Police Department at  615-322-2754.

When necessary, we work closely with the Dean of Students, Residential Life, Facilities, and other university departments to help resolve any challenges.

Campus Construction

With many construction projects underway, Vanderbilt strives to keep the campus community updated on impacts to pedestrian pathways, bicycle routes, and parking.

To view active construction projects on campus, visit our current construction map complete with pedestrian and vehicle detours.
