Lesson Description:
This lesson allows students to practice presentational speaking skills and to engage with authentic materials. Students begin by looking at the movie schedule: https://cinepolis.com/cartelera/guadalajara-poniente/cinepolis-galerias-guadalajara.
After reading the options, students use the attached worksheet to write the movie title, date and time, and why they want to see this particular movie. Next students sign in to the flip grid using the code provided by their instructor. They click on the green plus sign and record their information about the movie that they want to see, when, and why.
Students then reply to two other students’ videos using the gustar structure.
Feedback is provided by the instructor to individual students on the Flipgrid website.
