Vanderbilt Incident Response for Travel

Vanderbilt Incident Response for Travel (VIRT) provides safety-related guidance and assistance for members of the Vanderbilt University community who are traveling away from campus on VU-related travel.

How do you reach VIRT?

Call +1 615-322-2745 any time of the day or night, any day of the year, for expert help with health or safety issues while traveling. Tell the VU Public Safety dispatcher that you want to report an issue to VIRT.

International Student and Scholar Services

International Student and Scholar Services (ISSS) provides advice, counseling, and advocacy regarding immigration, cross-cultural, and personal matters.

English Language Center

The English Language Center (ELC) provides quality English-language instruction to individuals who have a first language other than English.

Global Education Office

The Global Education Office (GEO) administers undergraduate study abroad and student exchange programs. GEO is an important resource for Immersion Vanderbilt's international pathway.

Global Support Services

Global Support Services (GSS) facilitates employment related visas for Vanderbilt University faculty and staff.

Office of Active Citizenship and Service

Office of Active Citizenship and Service (OACS) creates applied community service experiences that give every undergraduate an opportunity to engage, to question, and to create change locally and globally.

Export Compliance

The Vanderbilt Export Compliance (VEC) office is dedicated to providing assistance and centralized resources for all Vanderbilt export control-related activities.

Human Resources and the International Tax Office (ITO) provide assistance with tax-related issues.
