Otello
TPAC's Polk Theater
“A kiss. A kiss. Another kiss...” sings Otello as his wife takes her last breath, dead by his own jealous hand. Shakespeare’s famous play about a great leader destroyed by his own uncontrollable jealousy and desire is matched by one of Verdi’s greatest musical scores to create an unforgettable opera. Nashville Opera’s artistic director, John Hoomes, led discussion of this tragic story adapted into an intense, beautiful opera.

Million Dollar Quartet

Million Dollar Quartet is the smash-hit musical inspired by the famed recording session that brought together rock 'n' roll icons Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis and Carl Perkins for the first and only time. On December 4, 1956, these four young musicians gathered at Sun Records in Memphis for what would be one of the greatest jam sessions ever. Learn about this chance meeting and the show the meeting inspired from cast members who dare to portray some of our most beloved performers.
