Behind the Curtain: The Business of Broadway
TPAC’s War Memorial Auditorium
Highlighting the Tony Award winner for best musical, Memphis, this Lunchbox will focus on the business of Broadway. Panelists Kathleen O’Brien, TPAC’s CEO and Sue Frost, Producer of Memphis will take us behind the curtain and discuss the work involved in bringing a show to the stage. Cast members will perform songs, and we’ll gain a new respect for Broadway! Please note this Lunchbox is located in TPAC’s War Memorial Auditorium.

An inside look at “Freedom Sings,” a First Amendment Center multimedia production that uses music that has been banned or censored or served as a social anthem in American history. For more than a decade, the nationally touring show has educated and entertained audiences through live music, video and narration about the five freedoms of the First Amendment.
