Subject: SPRING SEMESTER ROOM CHANGE REQUESTS
Room Change Freeze
While room change requests can be submitted beginning January 7, 2019, the Office of Housing and Residential Education will not begin processing requests until January 22, 2019. During this time, the Office of Housing and Residential Education conducts an inventory of rooms in order to confirm that students have returned and to account for available vacancies.
Unauthorized Room Changes
Students are required to reside in the space to which they are assigned. Students may not change or swap rooms without authorization from the Office of Housing and Residential Education. Unauthorized room changes may result in disciplinary action.
Room Change Requests
Any student who would like to change rooms should complete the room change request available in the Student Housing Portal. Requests can be submitted beginning January 7, 2019. For requests submitted by Friday, January 18, 2019, students will be contacted on January 22, 2019 regarding the status of their request. Requests submitted on or after January 19, 2019 will be processed on a rolling basis throughout the semester.
