“Myanmar, the Golden Land: Politics and Actual Change”
Khin Mon Nyein, a Hubert H. Humphrey Fellow, will be presentingon the status of Myanmar’s political change. With a new political environment on the horizon in Myanmar, this presentation will explore whether or not the new majority party, the National League for Democracy, will receive a fair transfer of power from the military government and if this will create a new period of change for Myanmar.
