Commodore Climb 2: Chalk to the Hand on Mar. 31
The Vanderbilt Outdoor Recreation Staff will be hosting -Commodore Climb 2: Chalk to the Hand- on Thursday, March 31 from 4:00 – 7:00 pm at the VRWC Climbing Wall. This second annual Commodore Bouldering Competition is a free event and is open to Vanderbilt students. Competitors of all skill levels, from beginners to rock stars, are encouraged to participate. The top three climbers in each category will receive awesome swag!

Half Marathon and 5K Running Clinics Mar. 7 - Apr. 23
Running Clinics are back this spring! These Half Marathon and 5K running clinics are taught by VRWC Fitness Staff Mark Langdon and Wade Evans. Training regimens are new each week and fun runs are included at the end! Feel free to drop in any Monday or Thursday throughout Mar. 7 through Apr. 23 since there is no need to register!
Attend 10 sessions and get entered for a FREE Country Music Marathon registration! (5k or 1/2 marathon entry only) All participants receive $20 off their Country Music Marathon registration just for participating!

Hummus 101

Grab and go information provided once a week in the Vanderbilt Recreation and Wellness Center on a nutrition topic to help support our heating healthfully and can be completed in 2-3 minutes.
Hummus is a great alternative to calorie-rich dips, as it is nutritious, versatile, and is available in a variety of flavors. Come sample a few delicious types of hummus and discover new ways in which you can add hummus to your eating plan.

Two New Group Fitness Classes at the VRWC
The Vanderbilt Recreation and Wellness Center (VRWC) is offering two new group fitness classes this semester. Hoophoria is a beginner friendly, fun, and playful hula hoop dance class. The class is available Mondays at 7:00 pm and Tuesdays at 4:00 pm. On Tuesdays and Thursdays at 11:00 am, try out Tabata with Kathy. Come out and enjoy these great, new classes!
