Vanderbilt Awards for Leadership Excellence (VALE)
Dear Student Leaders,
Happy New Year! What better way to start off 2018 than reflecting on your personal and organizational accomplishments from 2017? Student Leadership Development and Student Organizations and Governance invite you to apply for one or more of the Vanderbilt Awards for Leadership Excellence (VALE). VALE recognizes the work of individual students and organizations that positively shape the Vanderbilt community. You can also nominate a friend/organization here.
18 Individual Awards and 7 Student Organization awards will be given for leadership in areas like service, intercultural awareness, residential education, recreational sports, academic achievement, and more! Each award has its own criteria. For a full list of award criteria, visit our awards page. Each award also comes with a stipend and opportunity to be recognized at our ceremony on Wed., Apr. 4!
Applications for all awards are LIVE and will close on Mon., Feb. 12 at 11:59 p.m. More information can be found here and applications are available here. Go ahead and save the date for the VALE Ceremony on Wed., Apr. 4 in the Student Life Center from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
