Join us for the annual Murray Lecture with special guest speaker LaTosha Brown! Ms. Brown is the Co-Founder of Black Voters Matter, Black Voters Matter Fund, and Black Voters Matter Capacity Building Institute. These initiatives are designed to boost Black voter registration and turnout, as well as increase power in marginalized, predominantly Black communities. The annual Murray Lecture is named for the Rev. Walter R. Murray, a Nashville native and Pearl High School graduate who was one of Vanderbilt’s first African American undergraduates.
