Study Abroad Independent Study Project Showcase
Since 2012, Vanderbilt has partnered with the School for International Training (SIT) to offer immersive, research-focused study abroad programs that are focused on critical global issues. The Global Education Office invites you to hear from some of Vanderbilt’s SIT alumni about their investigations and their experiences abroad. Please join us for the first annual Vanderbilt/SIT Study Abroad Project Showcase, to be held Thursday, January 19, at 7pm in McTyeire Fireside Lounge.
Students will present brief discussions of their research, and a representative from the School for International Training will also be available. This is a great opportunity to learn more about the experiences of your peers on SIT programs as they learn about and confront issues of global concern.
Location: McTyeire International House, Fireside Lounge
Date: Thursday, Jan. 19
Time: 7:00 p.m.
The Showcase will feature talks from students who studied in south and east Asia:
