Refugee Resettlement in Nashville

Bridges is hosting a conversation with Sarah Turner, the Refugee Youth Mentor Coordinator at Catholic Charities. Having worked with refugees from across the globe, Ms. Turner will provide valuable insight on the resettlement process. She will discuss the unique challenges of resettlement, including cultural adjustment, language barriers, and navigating new institutions. Ms. Turner has extensive experience assisting arriving families, especially refugee youth, so please feel free to bring questions!

This event is the second of the 3-part Refugee Experience Speaker Series. Everyone is welcome, including remote students. Audience members will have a chance to win Apple AirPods (received by mail). Plus, attendance at both this speaker event and the next will count towards a final raffle for AirPods PRO and a Nintendo Switch!
