Open House Weekend: Enjoy the Vanderbilt Recreation and Wellness Center free of charge all weekend, Friday, May 8 through Sunday, May 10! We have a Spring Into Fun Run 5K, a Fit-A-Thon, and a Swim School Soiree planned.
Spring Into Fun Run 5K: Join us for a Spring Into Fun Run 5K planned for Saturday, May 9 at 9 AM. All ages and levels welcome to this fun filled day! Registration costs $20 and must be paid at the Vanderbilt Recreation and Wellness Center Offices. The registration fee must be paid within 2 business days in order to be officially registered.
First Annual Vanderbilt Fit-A-Thon: Come out Saturday, May 9 from 9-10 AM and motivate yourself to finish our FitaThon challenge. Each participant will complete 100 Body Squats, 100 Crunches, 100 Line Jumps or Step-Overs, 1 mile Run Or Walk, and set your own personal goal too!
Swim School Soiree 2015: Make plans to attend our first Swim School Soiree Saturday, May 9 from 3-6 PM. Food will be served, followed by two hours of swim time! Please RSVP on our website by Monday, May 4 to ensure your spot!
VRWC Field Day: End of the semester stress getting to you? Come out to the VRWC to enjoy a reminder of the fun times in elementary school. Join us Saturday, April 11 from 11 AM - 2 PM for the Vanderbilt Field Day 2015. We will have tournament games, indoor games, individual games, and a 5K Fun Run from 2-4 PM!

Private Boxing Lessons
Coach Tramaine Crook will now be offering private boxing lessons in addition to the beginner and advanced clinics. Registration information can be found online on the VRWC website or in the main office.
Individual: $50.00/hour
Groups of 2+: $35.00/person/hour
1. Print and fill out the registration packet.
2. Bring your packet and payment into the Office of Campus Recreation (Mon-Fri, 8-5pm).
3. Coach T will contact you to set up your training times

Thursday April 16, 4 - 5PM Portion VS Serving
Check out a portion of food vs a serving. Learn quick and easy tips for consuming ‘a serving’ of food to avoid overeating, support weight maintenance, and getting a variety of food. At this ‘grab and go’ information station, enjoy a serving of a favored comfort food.
