Native American Heritage Month (NAHM)
The Student Center for Social Justice and Identity is happy to announce the calendar for Native American Heritage Month 2020! This year’s theme is #LandBack, meant to focus on the importance of land and sovereignty for native and indigenous communities and bring awareness to the efforts being made to restore stolen territory to nations around the country. There are both virtual and in-person events (some of which require RSVPs) and are open to all students, faculty and staff, and surrounding community. A variety of student organizations and campus partners are holding dynamic, unique, fun, and educational events that will celebrate Native and indigenous culture all month long.
