Every year thousands of people from all over the world go on pilgrimage to Santiago de Compostela, a small city in the Northwestern part of Spain, famous for holding the shrine of Saint James the Great. The presentation will discuss the origins of this medieval tradition, the many ways to Santiago de Compostela, and the reasons it has become one of the top destinations in Northern Spain in contemporary times.
