The Han Clothing Movement is an ongoing cultural campaign aimed at reviving the traditional clothing of the Han Chinese. The movement is intertwined with Chinese nationalism, Confucian revival, and the oriental image on the global stage. This talk will address questions of what Han clothing is, why it was lost, and how clothing shapes ethnic and national identities.
