Laurie Woods (Lecturer in Sociology) will discuss the prevalence of guns in American society, as well as how the two sides of the gun debate view the issue. Recent shootings on college campuses and the increased concern about gun violence have both sides of the debate looking for ways to deal with the problem, but their approaches are very different. Is there an answer?
