Debating bringing a car to campus this year? Don’t know if it’s worth it with the decreasing amount of parking on campus and Nashville? Tired of paying for Uber/Lyft when there’s a 50x surcharge?

MTA is a free and more eco-friendly way to access Downtown Nashville. Learning how to navigate public transportation is a crucial skill to have especially for those students moving to big cities.

This event, hosted by VSG, SPEAR, and the MTA, will inform students on how to best utilize Metro Transit Authority (MTA) resources around campus, specifically highlighting the routes most useful for students to and from popular destinations. This event promotes inclusivity by offering a free platform for all students to access Nashville and its resources. Students will gain valuable experience navigating a major city while also reducing their carbon footprint and saving money. Furthermore, this will aid Future VU’s efforts to promote sustainability on campus and respond to the changes in on-campus parking.
