 Commons Leadership Council Peer Mentor Application

Applications are now open for upper-class students who are interested in mentoring first-year student leaders.

In preparation for the 2019-2020 academic year, the Office of the Dean of The Ingram Commons is looking for several Commons Leadership Council (CLC) Peer Mentors.  The responsibilities of a CLC Peer Mentor include:

  • Attend a spring turnover meeting on April 17thf rom 8:00 -9:00 p.m.,
  • Attend regular meetings with the assistant director,
  • Meet weekly with an ODOIC staff co-facilitator,
  • Attend all meetings of the CLC and all CLC-sponsored programs,
  • Facilitate all Commons Cup events under the direction of the Commons Cup coordinator,
  • Meet once with each first-year mentee per semester, and
  • Other duties as assigned.

Applicants must maintain a 2.75 GPA and be on good standing with the university to be eligible.
