Alumni Speakers Series, “The Road Less Traveled” with Alexis Jackson, ‘15

The Alumni Speakers Series called “Looking in the Rearview Mirror” is tied to The Commons Reading, “The Happiness Hypothesis.” The second guest will be Alexis Jackson, ’15 who is from Memphis, TN. At Vanderbilt, she was a member of the Eta Beta Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., the Black Student Alliance, and the Vanderbilt Chapter of the NAACP. She is the 2015 winner of the Vanderbilt Art Department’s Margaret Stonewall Wooldridge Hamblet Award. She now works as an Audience Editor at People Magazine in New York City. An art exhibit and reception will follow the discussion.
