Wednesday, March 17
6:00 p.m.

In this Women’s History Month program, we will explore the concept of purity culture in the Black Church and its effects on black women. How are these ideals helpful? How does or may it cause harm? Join us for a presentation and open conversation about what it means to dive deeper into ideals that prevent you from making choices that best fit you! This program is led by a black queer womanist and it’s themes intersect being woman, black, queer, spiritual, faithful, and sex.
