Kelly King began working with the Ingram Scholars Program as a graduate assistant in May 2021. After an inspiring year with this remarkable program, she was thankfully given the opportunity to extend her tenure and now serves full-time as the Academic and Educational Support Program Coordinator.

Originally from Charleston, South Carolina, Kelly earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Secondary Education and English from Clemson University in 2016. After completing her undergraduate education, Kelly taught high school English Literature for four years. Her time in the classroom sparked a passion for helping students discover and achieve their goals. This passion led to Kelly’s pursuit of further education, and she graduated from Vanderbilt University’s Peabody College with her M.Ed. in Higher Education Administration in 2022.

Kelly loves working with a program that provides the opportunity for impassioned individuals to create impactful progress. She is inspired by the Scholars’ work and strives to provide meaningful collaboration to a talented and impressive team.
