Summer Archives
Katy WyszynskiDenver, CO - Project C.U.R.E. |
This summer I worked at Project C.U.R.E.’s international headquarters in Denver, Colorado in the evaluation department. The non-profit delivers health and hope to the world by sending donated medical supplies and biomedical equipment to healthcare facilities in developing countries. I assisted in redesigning their impact evaluation survey, which had been recently redesigned and moved to a new platform. I translated the survey into Spanish and French, as well as sent out the survey to all healthcare facilities that have received C.U.R.E. Cargo within the past two fiscal years. With the new data received and the historic data collected from 2004, I created an aggregate data analysis for the development team to use for the grant writing process and procurement of funds from companies and corporations to be used for shipment of future cargo containers. With the most recent data set, I created a Quarterly Report for the Project C.U.R.E. operations department, along with a template for future reports. This report highlights utilization of supplies and equipment and problems associated with the donated biomedical equipment. Finally, I created a sustainability report with instructions for current employees and future volunteers on how to utilize the survey platform. This included a tutorial on how to create a new survey and the basic mechanisms of the platform.
