Tina He Mombasa, Kenya - Foundation for Sustainable Development - Milango Financial Services

Tina worked with Milango Financial Services Ltd. in Kenya to help build on its Alternative Business Channel, specifically on its solar energy sector. Her project aimed at improving people’s life quality by providing essential microfinance loans on solar products across Milango’s clients. Majority of the Kenyan lives in areas lack of stable electricity where they rely heavily on kerosene lamps. Milango’s solar energy loan could help to change the situation by providing an economic, environmental friendly and healthy option to its clients. She also helped strengthen the financial education training by adding principals on the passbook for all clients.
