Jessi Solomon Flathead Reservation, MT - Best Buddies with Dr. Elisabeth Dykens (FacultyFellows)

The Faculty Fellows program was started to encourage Ingram Scholars to partner with Vanderbilt faculty while engaging in a summer service project. Jessi worked with Dr. Elisabeth Dykens of the Vanderbilt Kennedy Center
to design a week-long inclusive service trip with Best Buddies (adults with learning differences) and their college buddies. They traveled to the Flathead Indian Reservation and stayed busy with several service projects and cultural immersion opportunities.
