Vasanth Kuppuswamy Vrindavan, India - Aamar Bari (The Guild of Service)

 

Vasanth Kuppuswamy went to Vrindavan, India to a widow's ashram, Aamar Bari, supported by The Guild of Service. While he originally intended to teach computer literacy and health education classes, the community's greatest expressed need was access to clean water. He spent the year fundraising and worked over the summer with local community members to buy and build a clean water pipeline.
