Drew Cornaghie * Fiji - 350.org, Marshall Islands Conservation Society

350.org:

350.org is an international Climate Change awareness raising organization. They organize days of action to advocate for the capping of emissions at 350 part per million, which is the maximum safe level of CO2 emissions the atmosphere can contain. We worked with the Pacific branch of 350 while in Fiji, working under the regional director.

 

MICS:

MICS is a conservation group in Majuro, RMI that pursues conservation of natural resources in three areas: terrestrial, marine, and education. They run several projects in Majuro in the these areas such as saving endangered species, advocating for efficient levels of fishing, prevention of burning solid waste, recycling education, and climate change awareness.
