Vanderbilt’s campus holds options for just about every appetite and budget across both the Medical Center and University.

The Vanderbilt Clinic

Courtyard Café — The Courtyard Café serves hot meals, grilled and deli sandwiches, pizza, sushi, salads, soups, etc. There are also stations for Mexican and Chinese food. Hours: 6 -10 a.m., breakfast; 10:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m., deli sandwiches; 11 a.m. – 2 p.m., grill; 11 a.m. – 2:30 p.m., hot entrees; 4 -6:30 p.m., dinner. Commodore Cup/Courtyard Café serves coffee and grab-and-go salads and sandwiches — Hours: 6:30 a.m. – 6 p.m., Monday-Friday

Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt

Taco/Bell Pizza Hut — Hours: Open daily 10 a.m. – 11 p.m.
Subway — Hours: 7 a.m. – 11 p.m., Monday – Friday; 7 a.m. – 10 p.m., Saturday; 7 a.m. – 9 p.m., Sunday

Ben and Jerry’s Ice Cream — Hours: 11 a.m. – 10 p.m., Monday – Friday; noon – 9 p.m., Saturday

Vanderbilt Café, a traditional ‘meat ‘n three’ style restaurant — Hours: 6 a.m. – 10:30 a.m., daily; 11 a.m. – 7 p.m., Monday-Friday
Suzie’s Espresso serves coffee and baked goods — Hours: 6:30 a.m. – 5 p.m., Monday-Friday

Champ’s Grab-and-Go Service is located on the third floor of Children’s Hospital and serves salads, sandwiches and more — Hours: 11 a.m. – 2 p.m, Monday – Friday

Medical Center Plaza

During February a heated hot dog and hamburger tent will be located on the Medical Center Plaza — Hours: 11 a.m. – 1:30 p.m., Monday-Friday.

Medical Center North

Commodore Cup/Medical Center North Lobby features coffee, smoothies, grab-and-go sandwiches, salads and chili — Hours: 7 a.m.- 5 p.m., Monday-Friday

Medical Center East

Vanderbilt Bistro on Eight/8th Floor Medical Center East outside the Vanderbilt Eskind Diabetes Clinic — Hours: 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday-Friday

Oxford House

The Vandy Deli serves sandwiches and salads and is located on the lower level of the Oxford House — Hours: 8:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m., Monday-Thursday; and 8:30 a.m. – 2 p.m., Friday Nutritional Services’ Billy Jennings, left, helps customers Michael O’Donnel and Monica Martin in the new food tent on the Medical Center plaza.

Vanderbilt University Hospital

Suzie’s Espresso/Vanderbilt University Hospital Lobby serves coffee, sandwiches, wraps and baked goods — Hours: 7 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., Monday-Friday

Medical Research Building III

Suzie’s Espresso/MRB III serves coffee, sandwiches, wraps, baked goods — Hours: 7 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.. Monday-Friday

VANDERBILT UNIVERSITY

The Commons

The Food Gallery, the state-of-the-art dining facility, includes a salad bar with sizzle station, Chef’s Table, specialty pizza oven, deli, wok, grill, and vegan/vegetarian food.

The Common Grounds offers coffee and grab-and-go food items.

Sarratt Student Center

Rand Dining Center offers salads, sandwiches, pasta, burgers, baked goods, Mexican, Mediterranean and Asian foods.

Last Drop Coffee Shop features paninis, soup, wraps, smoothies and coffee.

Chef James Bistro serves hot gourmet entrees and sides, soups, coffee, gourmet grab-and-go salads, sandwiches, entrees and sides.

The Pub at Overcup Oak, Third Floor Sarratt, is a casual dining restaurant serving al-a-carte lunch (burgers, paninis, salads, sandwiches, chicken fingers, beer and themed dinners (Mexican, BBQ, Italian, etc).

Branscomb

RoTiki/Varsity Marketplace is an island-themed quick-service restaurant serving soups, salads, paninis and pizzas.

Vanderbilt Student Life Center

Starbucks serves coffee, tea and baked goods

Vanderbilt Library

The brand new Library Café offers daily soup and paninis, coffee drinks, pastries and grab-and-go items.

Blair School of Music

Suzie’s Espresso serves coffee, tea, baked items, salads and sandwiches.

Vanderbilt School of Engineering

Suzie’s Espresso serves coffee, tea, baked items, salads and sandwiches.

Vanderbilt Divinity School

Suzie’s Espresso serves coffee, tea, baked items, salads and sandwiches.

Schulman Center

Grins Vegetarian Café serves soups, salads and paninis.

Peabody Campus

The Iris Café, managed by Provence Breads, is on the ground floor of Peabody Library on Peabody Campus and serves coffee, salads, sandwiches and other items.

    McDonalds is gone. I could get a snack wrap and a parfait for $2.72 there, for a total calorie count of ~450. They’re replacing it with something like Panera, where the lowest calorie count for a full sandwich (most people don’t have the sense to buy half a sandwich, and it’s only $1 cheaper anyway) is 440, and the average is more like 700. And the sandwiches start at $5.
