Julian Hillyer and Weihan Chen present in Entomology 2012

Weihan “Jack” Chen and Julián Hillyer traveled to Knoxville, TN to attend the 60th annual meeting of the Entomological Society of America. At the meeting, Jack presented the lab’s research on the effect of chemicals on mosquito heart physiology, and Julián presented research on the effect of the neuropeptide CCAP on heart contraction and hemolymph flow dynamics.

The Entomological Society of America (ESA) is the largest organization in the world serving the professional and scientific needs of entomologists and people in related disciplines. Founded in 1889, ESA today has more than 6,000 members affiliated with educational institutions, health agencies, private industry, and government.
