Wellbeing Champion Program

Are you passionate about wellbeing and want to share your enthusiasm with colleagues? Register for an upcoming virtual informational session to learn more about the program and how you can get involved!

What is a Wellbeing Champion?

Wellbeing Champions are a diverse group of employee volunteers from across the university who act as ambassadors for the COE Health, Wellbeing and Belonging by promoting awareness, education, and engagement.

Roles and Responsibilities

Time Commitment

Wellbeing Champions are asked to commit to a two-year term and dedicate up to two (2) hours of work time each month.

Interested in becoming a Champion? Here are the steps to take:

  1. Attend an informational session to see if the program is right for you.
  2. Talk with your supervisor about your interest, confirm there isn’t already a Pilot Champion in your area, and obtain their support to move forward with the application process.
  3. Submit an application (more information coming soon!)

Pilot Program: a sneak peak

A pilot Wellbeing Champion Program is currently in progress with a select group of 20 employee volunteers, across 13 divisions and schools, who are passionate about individual and workplace wellbeing. Their feedback and experiences will help refine the program to ensure it’s as impactful and engaging as possible.
